Celtic Dragon Loop

Hand Made in the USA using European veg-tan leather, this incredible bracelet design features a sewn continuous leather strap with a loop that fits over a solid cast pewter button as the clasp. 

The Leather is 5mm wide by 4mm thick.  The Button is 18mm. The Bracelet is custom-made for the client and they are able to choose the leather color and size.

The Celtic Dragon Button: The Celtic Dragon is a mighty mystical creature that represents sovereignty, power, or a chief or leader of a clan, such as Pendragon the Celtic word meaning 'chief. ' Raising power is to invoke the “Eye of the Dragon.”

Buttons are cast by our artisans using Lead-Free Pewter. *The client can custom upgrade their order to Stirling (925) Silver or14kt Gold buttons after purchase for an additional cost. (price quotes are available through email)

Standard sizes: Small (6' or 16cm), Medium (7" or 18cm), Large (8" or 20cm).

In Celtic mythology, dragons are powerful symbols, viewed as creatures that protect the earth, stand side by side with the gods, and have great power. They are symbols of fertility, wisdom, leadership, and strength, and images of Celtic dragons can be seen in artwork, architecture, and even today, in flags, logos, and more in the Celtic area.

Dragons were depicted in numerous ways, but a common portrayal is of dragons with their tails in (or near) their mouths, effectively creating a circle. This was to demonstrate the cyclical nature of the world and life. 

• Leadership and Bravery

Among the Celts, the dragon was a symbol of leadership and bravery. The Welsh word for dragon is draig or ddraich, which has been used to refer to great leaders.
